Post extraction

A day after the surgery,  I am real glad to see L up and about, running, jumping and playing.
She's taking more milk and is progressing well back to her usual soupy rice diet. A big difference from the half bowl of soft porridge that she had the whole of yesterday. She's starting to snack now and even managed to finished a tub of Ben & Jerry's yesterday!
Her smiles are back and for that I am thankful.
The only reminders left are the purplish swollen gums which I catch glimpses of when she smiles. I view them with a tinge of regret and heartache but nonetheless I'm glad she's back to her chirpy cheeky self again.
